Review: “Premium Rush.”


When you’re on a bike in a big city, danger comes from everywhere. Cars want bikers off the road, and their doors are a regular threat. Pedestrians walk around as if they’re hypnotized lemmings, with little regard for their surroundings (the worst is when they crowd the sidewalk). Other bikers are a danger, too, since it’s impossible to tell whether they’re competent.Premium Rush, a stylish thriller about a bike messenger, gets its suspense since director David Koepp viscerally understands this physical reality.
